Liberals’ compulsive hagiography is so tedious.
Thank God someone has the balls to say that Bill Hicks wasn’t funny.
Alas, we’re then scolded that he wasn’t trying to be funny (you point-missing, flyover twit!) Hicks was “insightful.” And of course, being a leftist douchebag, he “cared about enlightening others.”
Too bad his observations — like those of George Carlin — were usually just empty cliches.
Here’s a test:
Get someone who looks and speaks a lot like the least hip guy you can imagine. Mr. Rogers, maybe. A Mitt Romney type. No cigarette dangling outta the mouth or anything.
Put him on stage and have him recite a typical Bill Hicks “political” routine, word for word.
Still think it’s “enlightening” and “insightful”?
Of course not. You’d be thinking: “What is this warmed over pseudo-wisdom?”
God, liberals are easily fooled, aren’t they?
Which wouldn’t matter so much if they didn’t vote, not to mention run the entire culture.
