5 Feet of Fury

‘It has long been this story that brings a smile to my face…’

Exactly:

Hurricane Katrina revealed the fragile state of the Black-Run America (BRA) experiment; the reality of Black people, stripped bare, exposed for all to see during those late August- early September 2005 days in New Orleans…

THAT was the “big deal” about Katrina:

The residents held up signs that said HELP US, but what I saw written across their faces was:

“Holy shit, now the entire outside world can see our sordid, useless, crappy lives!”

Their irrational, petulant behavior was fueled as much by embarrassment as temporary (and preventable) deprivation.

SWPDL continues, moving over to Los Angeles:

Opening stores in primarily Black areas — because Black people have the strange innate inability to engage in capitalistic endeavors (hence the folly of “buying Black” campaigns) — these Korean entrepreneurs daily take their lives into their own hands.
