Impoverished ‘palestinians’ or ‘Price Is Right’ runners up?

November 16, 2011 By Kathy Shaidle

The friend who sent in this (surprisingly undoctored!) Reuters photo incidentally refuses on principle to capitalize the “P” in “Palestinians.”

Which makes the fact the country is so fake that the Arabic alphabet doesn’t even have a letter “P” even funnier.

Anyway, he says this photo shows two, and possibly three (under the blanket?) TVs, which is one more than I have in my house, and two more than my friend does.

Poor people the world over sure have lots of stuff.

PS: I obviously missed the part where the Nazis let Jews in Dachau have “building permits”….

UPDATES from readers about life in the new Auschwitz:

* “In addition to the massive televisions, that palestinian woman has a side-by-side fridge with an external water dispenser? I’ve never had one of those.”

* “BTW, there is a website which is maintained poorly by the palestinian gov’t that keeps track of their suffering. It can be a challenge to get around, but I did find out that 97% of households there have sattelite TV.  The other dishes were probably on one of the flotillas, damn joos.”
