Back in Adam’s childhood, ants knew what they wanted. They would invade your kitchen and picnics, take your cake, and leave.
Nowadays, Adam find ants in his bathroom and hallways, places where there is not food. Adam doesn’t know why it’s happening…

He also hinted on Marc Maron’s podcast (starts around 1:21) that, since the show starts at 10pm ET each night and by then most people will be sick of sports for the day, he and Artie might talk about other things; “We’ll steer it into race…”
PS: I don’t find Marc Maron’s personal stories that believable for some reason. But they aren’t surreal enough to be completely made up on purpose, either.
Plus he’s a liberal so I think I’m biased.
