By one estimate, there were over 40 attempts on Hitler’s life. None of these involved skinny white guys with dreadlocks a hundred yards away, waving toy handcuffs they bought at the Condom Shack.
If you really thought Dick Cheney was a “war criminal,” you’d do something that would end with you in handcuffs, not him…
Brian Lilley reports from the scene. My prediction of 100 protesters was uncannily accurate. He noted the usual twisted “progressive” rhetoric on display:
…lots of people with signs indicating that Dick Cheney and/or Stephen Harper or both are involved in some kind of homosexual relationship and inferring that this is a bad thing.
Really, what is it about people on the left who disagree with people on the right quickly turning the equivalent of yelling “Fag” on the school yard. There were signs there saying, “Harper loves Dick” for example and plenty of others more rude than that playing on the homoerotic theme.
It is amazing that those who campaign for equality of gays and lesbians are so quick to denounce someone using this kind of language.
