I agree with him re: quality over “niceness;” it’s a problem CanLit faces (or more accurately, refuses to) as well.

However, the comments are (you guessed it) much more entertaining than his article.

And by the way, Mr. Columbia Zombie “Novelist”:

I went to one of those measly community colleges, and my first book was nominated for my nation’s highest literary award. How’s about you?
