5 Feet of Fury

Uh… that’s cuz merchants, like, give them stuff in return…

Apparently, this is what passes for deep, original thought these days:

“They hand more cash to merchants than they do to beggars.”

However, note this, which is right out of the “human biodiversity” handbook — right up to the point where it turns stupid again:

The idea is that you give what you get, and if you are treated nicely by others, you will respond in kind, and be more trusting, too. The implication is that if you give social support, “you will create a better neighborhood.” The limitation, however, as Matt points out, is that such kindness works only “among friends and relatives.”

(…)

The solution, says Matt, is the “division of labor that encourages people to engage in mutual service

“History shows that it is trade that dissolves hostility between groups.”

***
The first paragraph illustrates inherent human nature.

The second illustrates the typical leftists “solution” for changing it.

The last sentence is self-evident crap.
