UPDATE:
I’d forgotten how hard it is to do a “remote” with an interviewer in a studio miles away.
I was perched on a high stool, sitting in semi-darkness, talking to a black box with a tiny red light on it, and wearing an earpiece that was really loud and static-y.
Ugh! Oh well, I lived.
