‘Should I have to wait until I’m 70 or 75 to collect Social Security? Absolutely!’

August 12, 2011 By Kathy Shaidle

Yep!

Social Security was established at a time when the average worker died at age 65. It was never meant to be the sole source of retirement income for anyone.

Every day I hear people say they can’t wait until they turn 62 so they can start collecting, and yet they are perfectly able to work!

I see people collecting disability checks because they are too fat to go to work.

I don’t understand how they can possibly feel that someone other than themselves is responsible for that condition.
