So, after the postal lockout ended on June 27, the 25-year-olds started mailing a resume a day, changing the cover letter every few days, to Canada Post, the Toronto Transit Commission, the City of Toronto and Canadian National Railway.
They figured it would show potential employers just how serious Sanita, who has been working as a groundskeeper at a golf course, is about finding a full-time job.
As of Thursday, they had only one response. (…)
Despite the setback, Brown and Sanita haven’t given up.
Brown has a bunch of resumes on her desk just waiting to be mailed.
