Shocker! ‘Innocent’ man freed from jail, given big settlement, not a Magic Negro after all

IOwnTheWorld:

After being cleared for the rape he didn’t commit, Fears reached a $238,000 financial settlement with the state. At the time, Fears’ deal was far less cush than that of other wrongfully-convicted Ohio inmates later cleared through DNA tests because he was also serving time for a second rape conviction from 1984.

Earlier this year, for instance, he was convicted of misdemeanor charges of assault and unauthorized use of personal property.

On top of that, Fears has supposedly already spent all of his settlement money, including paying $49,000 in cash for a three-bedroom rancher in Columbus.

Although his attorney Isabella Dixon says her client lives solely off Social Security disability income, now comes a rape allegation from a woman who had been renting a room from Fears.
