A friend of mine (not a Catholic) ostentatiously makes the sign of the cross when she passes a woman in a burka. (Which is every day if you live in Toronto.)
Probably not very effective but extremely gratifying!
PS: Once again, the majority of ordinary people across Europe turn out to be… “rightwing extremists!”
