Second, and worse, the stupid bitch apologized and made everything worse, using the tired “See, he’s making FUN of that” defense from Spinal Tap.
The Mecca of suicide bombers IS Mecca.
There is nothing “ironic” or “sarcastic” about that.
If you were “making fun of people who think that way,” you are dumber than your targets.
They are right and you are wrong, yet mysteriously, YOU have your own TV show and they are expected to endure (and, in the UK, fund) your ignorant televised mockery.
Didn’t the hysterical, whiny, belligerent response you got from Muslims prove this to you?

I’m so sick of comedians who employ the “I was just kidding” defense, which naturally leads to two-week debates about “whether or not the joke was really ‘funny'” and so on.
No one is ever just kidding.
Have the balls to own your jokes and not hide behind the Mobius Strip of “you idiots don’t get it — I was being ironic!” crap.
