I am not condoning this act – I am just pointing out the fact that had she not been a visible minority- this story would not have been published, or on the front page. Newpapers seem to be eager to malign visible minorities or to run them down at the first opportunity!

PS: I’m shocked that so far none of the Toronto Star commenters have condemned the paper for printing an “obviously racist” giant photo of this woman. Maybe it’s still early yet.
