Apple removes pro-life app from iTunes store

Top American conservative leaders are in an uproar after Apple Inc. yanked an application for the Manhattan Declaration off their iTunes app store.

The app for the extremely popular statement of conservative values, which has been signed by over 475,000 people, was initially rated 4+ by Apple – indicating no objectionable content.

But because the app supported pro-life and pro-family values, opponents [at Change.org] fumed that it amounted to “hate and division” and demanded that the computer giant pull the item.
