Conservatives love to bemoan the lack of positive right-wing depictions by Hollywood.
Liberals and left-wing thought, they say, dominate the movies.
Rather than just complain, Fred Litwin, a gay conservative and political gadfly, is doing something to challenge this state of affairs.
Litwin is playing host to the inaugural Free Thinking Film Festival in Ottawa this November.
Billed as Canada’s first film festival devoted to the cause of individual liberty, the event includes parties, panel discussions, lectures and, of course, movies. Many, many movies.
The festival opens November 12 with the Canadian premiere of “Kalifornistan” which focuses on a deranged attempt by Islamic terrorists to wreck havoc in Los Angeles.
