I’m somewhat relieved that this year, I spent the anniversary of 9/11 in the sunroom of a historic San Diego hotel, listening to smart people discuss John Stuart Mill’s “Harm Principle,” without a television in sight.
When I got home, my inbox was full of links to 9/11 columns. Of the ones I could bring myself to read, I found Theo Caldwell’s the most eloquent.
