5 Feet of Fury

Germany trades 6 million Jews for 3 million Muslims. Hey, how’s that been working out?

Uh oh:

He also said that “a large number of Arabs and Turks in (Berlin) … have no productive function other than in the fruit and vegetable trade.”

In the same interview, he claimed that the Turks were “conquering Germany … through a higher birthrate.”

Two months ago, Sarrazin created similar headlines by saying “we are becoming … on average dumber” and linked that claim with integration “from Turkey, the Middle East and Africa.”

In another passage, he writes: “I don’t want the country of my grandchildren and great grandchildren to be largely Muslim, or that Turkish or Arabic will be spoken in large areas, that women will wear headscarves and the daily rhythm is set by the call of the muezzin.

“If I want to experience that, I can just take a vacation in the Orient.”

Prior to leaving his position as finance senator in the government of the city-state of Berlin, Sarrazin became well known for his blunt, and often controversial, comments on a variety of subjects. He famously called civil servants “pale and foul smelling” and said of Berlin: “Nowhere does one see so many people shuffling around in public wearing track suits.”

Meanwhile — why, yes, a bunch of Muslims were just arrested in Canada on terror charges.

Just in case you were having trouble getting a taxi in Ottawa this morning.

UPDATE:

Here’s one of the suspects, auditioning for Canadian Idol! (That’s for all you “But I work with all kinds of totally normal Muslims who are into hockey and…” people.)

Speaking of taxis — that Muslim cab driver in New York who was stabbed?

Meet the assailant:

Michael Enright, is — according to his Facebook profile and the website  of the left-leaning media organization Intersections International — a student at the School of Visual Arts and a volunteer for Intersections, which recently produced a statement of support for the Park51 project and is funded by the mainstream, liberal Collegiate Church of New York.
