How to turn your computer into a radio

–>

A few weeks ago, California’s big conservative talk radio station, KRLA, finally added Glenn Beck to its lineup.

That meant some schedule shuffling. So you might have been listening to Hugh Hewitt one evening, as you had for the last ten years, and been surprised when you suddenly heard Mike Gallagher’s voice during Hugh’s third hour.

Stuff like this happens all the time. Shows get dumped or rescheduled or switch stations.

I get paid to follow talk radio news at WND, and even I can’t keep track of it.

Add to that that lots of radio stations have really lousy streaming audio streams, and you’ve got some of the problems you have just trying to listen to talk radio on your computer at work.

Because that’s where you are while most shows are on, right? At work.

A long time friend of this blog, Patrick Doohan, has one solution.

His Ultimate Internet Talk Radio Directory has over 100 popular talk radio shows all on one page. You find the show you want, click the link, and a pop up starts playing the show.

Patrick works to keep the Directory up to date with the best feeds and most accurate schedules.

No more bookmarks from different stations or trying to remember who is on when. Just launch the Directory every day and forget it.

He’s got NEW information about the Talk Radio Directory up and asked me to share it with you.
