Life really just not that difficult:
Researchers asked mothers with children under the age of three what was their ‘main’ reason for going back to work.
More than 50 per cent said financial pressure, particularly significant debt problems, was to blame.
The most common answer was simply: ‘Money was tight’, while others said: ‘We were in serious debt by the time I returned to work and needed the income to repay it.’

By the time these women pay for child care, transportation, and their income taxes, how much money are they really making anyhow?
PS: One of the reasons folks are carrying so much consumer debt these day, notes Mark Steyn, is that we are so overtaxed that living on what’s left is a grim prospect.
If taxes were slashed, people could more easily get out of debt and stay out.
