Report on Bibi’s pre-flotilla visit to Toronto last Sunday

From the Jewish Tribune:

Although most of the protest had broken up by the time the walk was under way, some members of the group Neturei Karta and a few men wearing keffiyehs lingered at the Princes Gate.

Later, as the walk ended and some walkers returned to the CNE grounds, a large crowd gathered to counter the fringe group. The pro-Israel crowd mostly sang Israeli songs and humourously mocked the protesters; some criticized or tried to argue with them.

Eighty-four-year-old Holocaust survivor Joe Shedletzky exchanged a few angry words with the protesters before police quickly intervened. Three large, burly policemen quickly stood in front of Shedletzky as if he posed a threat to the group of healthy young protesters, some of whom were quite muscular. Shedletzky called the men of Neturei Karta “the worst antisemites” who “want to destroy everything.”

Interesting photos and stuff that didn’t make it into the papers:

As they were leaving, the young girl in blue turned back to the crowd of walkers, raised her arm, pointed at them, and said twice in a chilling voice, “You’ll be sorry, I swear. You will pay: the day is coming.”
