Hundreds of women (and not a few men) jealous as Steyn resumes spanking Farber

Mark Steyn writes:

On the Internet, the first sign of a weak case is when the complainant won’t link to the original source material. So you’ll notice that I link to Bernie’s alleged evisceration of me whereas he won’t link to my evisceration of him. You begin to see why such an insecure man is a devout believer in state censorship. (…)

By the way, of the six news items on the CJC home page for May 11th, two are about me, two are about that 83-year old jailed for Nazi bathroom graffiti, and one is about the Gay Pride parade. That seems an appropriate comment on the bizarre preoccupations of Farber’s CJC. He comes over the capo di tutti capi if you’re a Toronto Star columnist who disrespects his gay T-shirt, or an octogenarian retired Wehrmacht janitor hobbling into the men’s room on your walker to scrawl swastikas. But, when it comes to the real source of growing Jew-hatred in Canada and the west, Bernie is strangely silent, and all the censorship laws he supports are useless.

I can’t quite say I am “personally indifferent as to whether Nazis get beaten up on the streets of Toronto.”

As I’ve written ad nauseaum, I once had a very revealing exchange with a Christian conservative type, and we both agreed matter of factly that, if it came to that, we’d be quite enthusiastic about beating up Nazis on the streets of Toronto.

Which prompted the young Jewish liberal next to us to start screaming about what horrible, evil people we were…

Bernie being one of those Jewish liberals, I wonder what he’d think. I mean, I know he already thinks I’m a horrible, evil person. I’m talking about the other. I do know he doesn’t have the balls to join me on the streets of Toronto when I and a handful of others have been in very close proximity to today’s real Nazis (rather than the Hogan’s Heroes extras he oh so bravely “hunts” for, from basement to Canadian basement.)

But now he’s suggesting Nazis don’t deserve equal protection under the law. Does this mean he’s willing to take to the streets now, to save us nasty conservative Christians from having to do all the heavy baseball bat lifting for him and his people?

I seem to recall a time when things were different...

Gosh, I’m so confused. But not as confused as Bernie.
