While the Crusades, as we know, are very much on the minds of Muslims, but it is highly doubtful that the racist Tennessee rednecks (so beloved of mainstream media myth) who are supposed to have done this would know or care what a “Crusade-style cross” looks like. The cross that was painted on the mosque doesn’t look like the crosses you see in the local churches in Nashville.

note that Nur and Feghali both claim that the attack was “backlash” after an article exposing the terror ties of a local Muslim community. The subtext is: Don’t investigate mosques for terror ties. If you do, you will be charged with racism, bigotry, and even worse: incitement to violence.
