Active at [University of Western Ontario] is an organization called “PrideWestern” which purports to be the best avenue for homosexuals/bisexuals/transgendereds/any other sexual deviance to express themselves and be “free” on campus.
Well, freedom took a turn for the worst. I won’t share the link because I’m utterly disgusted at what is on their forums (…)
On their forums, over a month ago someone posted links to several child pornography websites, along with a dozen pictures of “models” from those websites. (…)
After contacting local police, they began an investigation of the issue. I contacted the organization’s overseeing body (the University Students’ Council) in-person to be met with apathy and a lack of concern. I tape-recorded my walk-in — “thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’ll send an email to the administrators asking that they remove the content.”
Within an hour, nothing had been done, so I called the USC’s Campus Affairs director posing as a reporter — content removed within 10 minutes.
