Today’s leftists are convinced that harmless adjectives are actually coded curse words. If you describe someone as “gay” or “black,” even if that happens to be a relevant aspect of your story, you’re a “homophobe” or a “racist.”
Such pointless gnostic “code breaking” helps leftists conveniently avoid dealing with real social problems, while providing them with the thrilling illusion that they’re performing a brave and necessary public service.
The craving to experience these little frissons of self-righteousness never sleeps, it seems…
