I confess that I find it impossible to determine whether Beck’s show is serious or, as seems more probable, an elaborate practical joke played on his unwitting audience.

I read similar comments about myself, and you’ve read identical statements made by liberal pundits about conservative ones.
Isn’t it funny what leftists find “more probable” than the alternative?
It is more probable to liberals that a non-toxic gas emitted through cow farts is the cause of “global warming” rather than, say, that giant super mega hot round thing in the sky.
It is more probable to liberals that an anti-communist President was magically murdered throught the sheer power of free-floating right-wing hostility death rays concentrated within the 214 area code, rather than by a Marine sharp shooter turned communist traitor who’d just bought a mail order rifle and worked a few yards from the crime scene.
And it is more probable to liberals that Rush Limbaugh is just pretending to mean what he says.
Even while stoned on oxycontin and waking up profoundly deaf one morning, Limbaugh managed to deliver amazingly convincing yet secretly insincere improvised monologues for three hours a day, five days a week, for the last 22 years, on live radio, fooling an astonishing 20 million people at a time.
He only pulled off this amazing stunt so he could live out such well-known leftwing fantasies as smoking all the cigars he can manage, inspiring redneck militias to blow up federal office buildings, getting publicly denounced as a “racist” approximately once every 3.5 seconds (to the profound consternation of his African-American producer) and of course, buying his own professional football team.
Isn’t it OBVIOUS, sheeple?? God, you’re SO naive…
