‘Liberal-left beliefs are based on silly fantasies’

October 7, 2009 By admin

Ed West writes:

They believe that mass immigration benefits the economy and that multi-cultural societies are more “dynamic” and “vibrant”, when sociological research by the likes of Robert Putnam suggests they make people more miserable and inward-looking, with little economic benefit.

They once believed that abortion on demand would end the problem of unwanted children, but with 200,000 terminations a year and 90,000 children now in care, I don’t think even they believe that anymore.

In the past decade “liberals” have become fond of attacking Christianity, and the “Christian Right”, which in the UK is so small it could fit inside a Jesus Army van, when almost all of
their beliefs are based on non-empirical, irrational, neo-Quaker, post-Humanist pseudo-science.
