You say that like it’s a bad thing…

From the National Post:

Liberal MPs argued Tuesday morning that Prime Minster Stephen Harper’s Conservatives ignore Canada’s multicultural heritage, have little pride in the country’s health-care system, and ignore Canadian cultural workers.

(…)

Although these are phrases Mr. Harper has used in unadvertised or closed-to-the-media stump speeches to supporters dozens of times in the last two years, the Liberals believe the recent videotape gives them new political ammunition.

***
Which proves how out of touch Liberal elites are with the average Canadian, who

  • hates the rotten fruits of multiculturalism,
  • has little “pride” in our health care system (because taking “pride” in a broken government entitlement program funded by your own extorted tax dollars is pathetic),
  • ignores “Canadian cultural workers”, too — when they aren’t downright mocking them, or asking what the **** a “cultural worker” is.

Reading the comments to that story gives me hope for the future of my dopey country.

PS: Welcome, Mark Steyn readers!
