…after neighbors reported suspicious activities in Frum’s backyard.
Citing the recent rescue of Jaycee Lee Dugard (who was kidnapped at age 11 and held as a sex slave in a backyard shed for ten years), neighbors say they began to worry when they noticed a similar looking arrangement on the former Bush speechwriter’s property.
Questioned by police, Frum admitted that a young man had indeed been occupying what he called a “converted carriage house in his backyard” for the past seven months.
The young man was a recent law school graduate, said Frum, who was working for him as “managing editor” for an alleged “website” called NewMajority.com.
However, neither police nor any influential GOP insiders questioned could find much evidence of such a “website”.
Further invesigation revealed that the alleged “website” only receives about the same amount of traffic as lesser known political “blogs” run by non-celebrities without the assistance of managing editors, contributing editors, professional designers, consultants and generous bank managers.
