Writers in Toronto, Hamilton wanted at Examiner.com

As regular readers know, I’ve been Conservative Politics guide at Examiner.com since last year. The experience has its ups and downs, especially during a big site redesign (surprise!).

However, I’m glad I took the gig because it gives me a steady income that pays a few bills. And my stories often show up at the top of Google News.

I see at one freelance writers’ forum that Examiner.com is now looking for writers from Toronto and Hamilton to cover various topics, so if you want to apply to write for them, CLICK HERE.

That’s my referal link. (If they sign you up, I’ll get a little finder’s fee and everything!)

At the bottom of the application form, there’s a section called Find Your Examiner. You can search for me as “Kathy Shaidle” or use my Examiner ID code: 722

That’s how they’ll know I sent you to the site.

Again: you won’t get rich writing for Examiner.com, and the content management system can be a pain. But if you are a talented, motivated writer — you are expected to write about four pieces/week — you might find this a good way to earn some extra dough.
