Zerb gets paid good, steady money plus benefits (like a precious press pass) at the Star, hasn’t got any overhead, enjoys free technical support, and has a much bigger potential platform thanks to nearly bottomless corporate support. If she ever gets sued for libel, she won’t have to come up with a dime in legal fees.

I don’t enjoy any of those advantages.

Zerb’s Star blog gets “900 hits a day.”

Mine gets close to 3000.

Just sayin’.

Of course, she gets yelled at by her bosses for (harmless, even vaguely funny, in this case) stuff she blogs. And I don’t got no stinkin’ bosses.

So there’s that.
