Anyway, the professor makes (slightly) similar points to the ones I made in my recent speech — that 1960s Civil Rights laws passed/civil disobedience actions re: the Woolworth’s lunch counters/public accomodation demands in the United States are what greased the slippery slope to get us where we are today.
