I told you all about Audible.com, the talking books guys, earlier this week. I’ve been a member for years and I love it.
If you dad or the other special guy in your life loves books but doesn’t have time to read; if he’s got a long commute and/or spends lots of time on the treadmill –he’ll appreciate being able to listen to bestsellers like Mark Levin’s Liberty & Tyranny, or classics like (yes) War & Peace.
You can give your man the gift of Audible in two ways:
Gift certificates come in different denominations. The recipient gets an instant email with a special code — they just have to enter it at the Audible.com website and they can start picking out their new books right away.
Gift Memberships let you give a three- or six-month trial membership to somebody else.
- Just visit Audible.com
- click on the “Site Map” link at the bottom of the home page
- then click on “Gift Center”:
