One of the moderates said: “We have been fighting these Muslim extremists for you. They represent nobody but themselves. The community decided to move them on because the police won’t. We have asked them, but they did nothing.” That reflects poorly on the UK police, and provides yet another example of official Britain’s generally supine response to the domestic jihadist challenge.
And in line with the deeply ingrained nature of Islamic antisemitism, the worst insult the “extremists” can think of to throw at the “moderates” is “Get back to your synagogue” — i.e., you’re acting like Jews.
