Yes, that journalist actually wrote — and his editors ok’d it — that Obama’s “got rhythm.”
So I scroll down to see who the hell “Sam Fulwood III” is, and read that he’s a regular contributor to The Root, which is Slate’s very lively and thoughtful — for lack of a better word — “special black section.”
(Yeah, I thought “segregation” was bad too. That’s what happens when, like me, you “forgot” to go to university I guess…)
OK, Fulwood’s black, so using today’s logic, it’s ok for him to say another black guy’s “got rhythm.” Fine. I’ll play along to keep the peace. No biggie this time.
Except when you click on the link to The Root that the Yahoo dweebs have created in Fulwood’s byline, you go here.
I think it’s really important to remind everybody at this time that I am not currently employed at a major news organization and would never get hired by one a million years.
