Spare me the argument that Canadian law will still protect minors, and that only “consenting adults” are involved. The children of polygamous marriages are non-consenting minors. Moreover, the belief that children should not be sexually exploited is itself just another of those “Canadian values,” subject to review by the courts tomorrow.

As Catholic blogger Mark Shea has predicted numerous times, one day in the not to distant future, pedophiles will be reclassed as a poor, misunderstood “victim group” deserving of the same rights, privileges and fawning, prize-winning HBO movies as the rest of them.
It’s funny to think that one day, a pedophilia rights film festival will screen The Boys Of Saint Vincent’s and the audience will “read” the movie’s priest/molesters as the “heroes”, but can you really say such a thing is unimaginable?
I wonder what cool word pedophiles will adopt to describe themselves — their version of “queer” or “dyke”…
