Mark Steyn slams newspaper smear job against me (with UPDATES)

Mark Steyn did a little digging, and discovered that (before slamming me with out of context, manipulated quotes), completely unbiased, subjective and agenda-free reporter Randy Richmond has previously filed nearly five dozen “tongue bath” stories praising…

The Guy Who Is Suing Me, Ezra Levant and other conservative bloggers for criticizing his admitted-under-oath habit of pretending to be a neo-Nazi on white supremacist chat rooms.

(For those who’ve misplaced their scorecards, the two people quoted in Randy’s article talking about what an evil “racist” I am happen to be two of the greatest public admirers of… The Guy Who Is Suing Me.)

And evidently reporter Randy Richmond is a big, big fan of The Guy, too.

Do the people of London, Ontario really care that much about “Lucy”? Maybe the London Free Press should change its name to Tigerbeat. Is Randy a journalist or a press agent?

Steyn is not too impressed with CJC President Bernie Farber and Catsmeat either.

And when Mark Steyn isn’t impressed with you, it never ends well:

Even for a man [Bernie Farber] who seems at best useless and at worst a colossal millstone round the neck of his organization, this doesn’t seem a smart move. When explicitly eliminationist, genocidal threats against Jews – and Jewish children – were being yelled on the streets of Toronto, Montreal and Calgary, Kathy Shaidle and a handful of other Canadian bloggers were there to record it – and Bernie wasn’t.

No doubt he and Catsmeat and Richard Warman were too busy, off in the banqueting suite of some hotel awarding awards for Most Outstandingly Outstanding Anti-Hate Warrior of the Millennium back and forth to each other all afternoon.

When he did finally glance out of the limo on the way back from the ceremony, the pathetic Mr Farber was crass enough to claim credit for the work of others.

I gotta jump in here. How Leftoid do you have to be. No wonder there is Fury. You blind bats still don’t get it. If you think Kathy Shaidle is trying to hide something YOU find offensive, you don’t have a clue what this discussion is all about.

It is about “political correctness” and the fact we do not accept it, will not bow to it, and will flagrantly oppose it. We don’t give a shit about it. No, that’s not correct. We oppose it so much that we defile it.

We will write whatever the fuck we want and who is going to be the asshole that says “you cannot say that”? Well I just did, so I guess I can.

Shaidle countered that the campaign against her has taken her comments out of context.

When she criticizes Muslims or other ethnic groups, everyone knows she is talking about a specific group in a specific situation, Shaidle said.

 “In World War Two when people said oh the Germans did this or the Japanese did this, everybody knew you weren’t talking about all Germans.”
