Michael Coren: Israeli troops and a double decaf

January 17, 2009 By admin

Guy with suspiciously Jewish sounding last name writes:

The Hamas-supporting thugs who exhibited their commitment to the Palestinian cause by stealing fair-trade coffee and travel mugs a few days ago may not have represented the entire demonstration, but nobody in the 50,000 strong crowd seemed to object when one official speaker screamed, “You say you know about the Zionist lobby, but you put money in their pockets every time you’re buying their coffee.” So, the message is, buy a coffee and an Arab child dies. Or, perhaps more accurately, buy a coffee and forty camera operators ask a Hamas official to find them a bleeding child to film.

Man, this would be THE perfect time to enact my plan of having Coren, Mark Steyn and me wear little yellow question marks on our lapels. But nobody will play along, dammit!
