Just got back from the Jew-hating protest outside Peter Kent’s office. There were maybe 150 people there, tops. Of course Peter Kent was not there, nor was his staff. In fact, the office is completely empty, as they’re undergoing renovations. There were the usual suspects – Canadian Arab Federation, Not in Our Name, etc. but no counter protestors. Other than the usual speeches and chanting – “free Palestine”, “shame on Harper”, blah blah blah, we were treated to a short diatribe by the good Reverend Lawrence Pushee of the United Church of Canada…
