Peter Hitchens condemned the famous “satire boom” and its “dishonest mockery” of venerable shared British institutions and traditions in his book The Abolition of Britain 
But is it really any coincidence that the advent of the “satire boom” seems to have ushered in an age when true satire is impossible.
