My sincere appreciation to all of you who’ve written to say,

“Thank you for speaking for me the last few days.”

Precisely because I aim to speak for myself alone, come what may, I seem to echo the thoughts of others. (That’s any decent writer’s secret, btw.) My traffic is way up, too.

So thank you for your encouraging words, which mean more to me than ever given the present censorious — nay, borderline dangerous — climate.

However, if I may…

That “come what may” bit? Just a friendly reminder that I am (along with Ezra Levant and other Canadian conservative bloggers) being sued for being rude.

Cough.

These are rough economic times for everyone, including freelance writers like me, so I hesitate to ask (again and again) for direct contributions to my legal defense fund (although they are more than welcome — especially since the current exchange rate means I receive CDN $1.20 for every US $1 you donate!)

So I’ll simply point out that:

a) I have a new book out

b) my other e-book, Acoustic Ladyland, is still available (and Mark Steyn called it “a must read”)
