Dean Barnett, regular Hugh Hewitt guest host, has been admitted to ICU with a serious cystic fibrosis attack.

(PS: Dean wrote a delightful mini-book about his illness, The Plucky Smart Kind with the Fatal Disease. My lupus has been in remission for years, but I still appreciate a great “chronic illness memoir.” Dean’s is short, sweet and straightforward.)
