Some might imagine Chris Reid’s suggestion the people of Canada owe it to each other to act in each others’ defense — let alone we consider manning-up in the face of reality — a bit harsh, even unrealistic considering the danger posed by an armed psycho to a busload of Canadians disarmed by their government and their own rose-coloured glasses. After all, we can always call the police if anything like this ever happens again.
Unless, of course, it was the police who put the armed psycho on the bus in the first place.
