B’nai Brith faces human rights complaint

B’wa ha! B’wa ha ha!!

B’nai Brith has long advocated for the necessity of provincial and federal human rights legislation to address hate speech. [But] Being on the receiving end of a complaint permits the organization “to see it from both sides,” Matas said.

Oh, man. My face hurts from laughin’…

So why so persistently and consistently wrong all this time, B’nai Brith? How can it possibly take anybody five frickin’ years to get a clue?

Look: life is really not that complicated. Here’s how someone with functioning balls and an intact spine would have responded to that stupid Muslim’s complaint:

The HRC documents arrive in the mail.

You write the words “Go **** yourself” all over them, and courier them back.

The. End.

If more people had done that, the curtain on this farce would have come down years ago. Simply refuse to recognize the authority of the HRCs. They don’t HAVE any. They are quasi-judicial Charter violators. (I think the Charter is b.s. too but that’s another matter.)

UPDATE: a reader objects to my description of the Charter. I offer my response:

I think it is obvious that the US Constitution was conceived, written and approved by some of the greatest, bravest, most brilliant men of that age or any other, and was quite possibly inspired by God.

Our Charter, in contrast, is a tedious collection of legalism and undigested mid-century blather thrown together by a gang of mediocre lawyers, some of whom were, incredibly, Frenchmen.
