“God bless you, your voice must not be silenced”

Many thanks to everyone who has recently donated to my Legal Defence/Wedding/Gun Fund, or, as one donor called it, the “F*** You-Know-Who” Fund.

As most of you know, I’ve been blogging without a day job since November. I love it, and I think you do too — you’ve written to me saying you notice a welcome change in my tone: a free-er, more liberated one.

I’ve been doing lots of freelance editing and writing — both commercial and political — and — cough — I have a new book coming out shortly, about the Human Rights Commissions.

But that’s all very different from the (illusory) security of a twice-monthly, unbouncable paycheque and those dental & other benefits.

When you guys buy expensive cameras and accessories through my Amazon links (as someone did just yesterday), buy my book and make donations, it makes a big difference, not just in my bank balance but as confirmation that people look forward to my daily rants and consider them important enough to support financially (if they can.)

I can’t thank you enough, but I can keep trying.
