Brilliant way to protest Steyn Show Trial

A BC commenter at this excellent U.S. article suggests contacting BC politicians to give them a piece of your mind about their persecution of Mark Steyn and Maclean’s magazine, mentioning that BC is hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics.

In particular, express your grave concerns about visiting BC, for the Olympics or any other reason, given that people can be dragged into court for committing “thought crimes” or uttering “hate speech”, (i.e., discussing verifiable facts that also happen to hurt some minority’s/foreigner’s feelings…)

Ask about the rules tourists should follow to avoid arrest by the British Columbia Thought Police and so forth. If you boo an athlete from a foreign land, will you be arrested as a racist?!?

Have fun!

And remember: don’t harrass secretaries — they just work there.
