As a resident of British Columbia, I wish to make a formal appeal to my fellow citizens and the government of the province, to suspend the operations of this show trial immediately.
It is absolutely unacceptable to free people of any political persuasion to have judges, whether low-grade or the highest calibre, deciding political questions in a show trial.
I repeat, Mr Gordon Campbell, instruct your responsible ministers to suspend the operations of this tribunal pursuant to an inquiry of the Legislature into its actions to date and in this instance.
This matter has no jurisdiction in British Columbia and is the perfect subject for the pontification of the United Nations or universities in the Arab world, perhaps, so that the findings could be safely ignored.
The clock is ticking on this. As of June 3, 2008, 1 pm PDT, the people of British Columbia declare this to be an unconstitutional abuse of power in their name.
