Oh yes you do: she’s the town (sort of) tramp in It’s a Wonderful Life, and she won a well-deserved Oscar as the writer’s wife, the quintessential ladylike Southern belle who’s a “whore in the bedroom,” in The Bad and the Beautiful (1952) — truly one of the great (now sadly forgotten) screen performances by an actress.
