“In his newly issued manifesto, The Trudeau Empire has Fallen and It Can’t Get Up, Nicholls emphasizes the conservative movement rather than the Conservative Party.
“The moderate politics and gradual changes that Flanagan considers crucial to holding power are, in Nicholls’ eyes, no better than ‘Liberal-lite.’ If the conservative movement and its activists, think tanks and networks change the national dialogue, and win the war of ideas, political parties will of necessity shift right to win votes.
“Nicholls argues that conservatives must not compromise for political advantage, but should focus on joining the fight for their cause.
