“Comrade X is of the opinion that social spending is just a vast conspiracy to hand out money to greedy, predatory social workers. These social workers do nothing but make social problems worse while collecting fat pay cheques and benefits.
“When explaining his reasoning, Comrade X points to the ‘joke’ that is the party line that ‘one third’ of the people in Toronto live in poverty. He then lists off long series of his students who zoom around in expensive cars, diamond encrusted gold jewellery, and month long vacations to Jamaica, who also get free breakfast, free text books, and free load in general.
“Comrade X’s greatest heresy is to doubt the revealed wisdom that poverty causes crime. Comrade X seems to think that criminals cause crime. Comrade X also thinks that our justice system makes crime worse. Two of the five gangbangers who vandalized his car five times were back in school the next day … the Safe Schools Act is neither enforced nor respected.
